Following 11 years of the National Service User Awards, we are pleased to announce that from 2024 the awards will be known as the National Lived Experience Awards. The decision has been made over the course of the last year, with input from focus groups, staff, experts by experience, and award nominees and winners.
We announced in March that due to COVID-19 we had made the decision to postpone the 2020 National Service User Awards until Tuesday 10th November. As the date approaches the safety of the finalists and guests attending are our top priority therefore we are pleased to announce that the 2020 National Service User Awards will instead be held virtually.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the safety of all individuals involved is our priority therefore, we have taken the decision to postpone the 2020 National Service User Awards Ceremony.
We are delighted to announce the shortlisted finalists for the National Service User Awards 2020. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Tuesday 12th May 2020 in a black tie gala event at the Colwick Hall, Nottingham.
Nominations are now open for the National Service User Awards 2020 and we are looking to appoint a team of service users to join our five head judges in selecting the finalists.
